Bad Hofgastein
Bad Hofgastein is a part of The National Park Hohe Tauern is situated in the heart of the Austrian Alps – this being the second largest National park in Europe and spreads over an area of 1800 km².
In the centre of the National Park stands the Grossglockner Mountain, with it’s 3798 metres this is the highest mountain in Austria.
With the other villages of Bad Gastein and Dorf Gastein and the Sport Gastein area, the valley has 48 lifts and 201 kilometers of interesting terrain.
