Roses is situated in the north of Catalonia at the Costa Brava and at the Gulf of Roses. Its origins come from the Greek colony Rohdes and it is one of the most famous places at the Costa Brave.

The natural reserve Aiguamolls de L'Emporda close to Roses unites 4000 hectare marshes with an interesting biota. And you also have hiking possibilities there.
A day trip to Figueres is a must in order to visit the famous Dali Museum, as the artist even participated in its construction.
